All About

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a holistic therapy rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves placing thin, sterile needles at specific points along the body’s meridians—energetic pathways that connect and regulate your organ systems. These points are carefully selected to stimulate the flow of Qi (vital energy), improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing processes. By working with the meridians, acupuncture helps rebalance the nervous system, relieve pain, and address both physical and emotional imbalances. In my practice, I combine acupuncture with bodywork, nutrition, and lifestyle support to treat the root cause and help you feel grounded, resilient, and well in your everyday life.

Cupping

What To Expect During a Session?

The intake consists of questions regarding the medical condition you're coming in with, a reading of the pulse, and an examination of the tongue.

Based on the information gathered, a point protocol will be selected. Other modalities can include moxibustion, gua sha, and/or cupping.

Tuina Medical Massage

A hands-on bodywork technique used to release tension, improve circulation, and support the flow of Qi. Tui Na combines rhythmic massage, acupressure, and stretching to address pain, stiffness, and internal imbalances.

Cupping

Cupping/Guasha Therapy

Cupping:

Glass or silicone cups create suction on the skin to help increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and clear stagnation. Cupping is especially helpful for pain relief, detoxification, and respiratory conditions.

Guasha:

A gentle scraping technique using a smooth tool to release fascia, move lymph, and reduce inflammation. Gua Sha can relieve tension, support immune function, and promote skin vitality.

Moxa

Moxibustion (Moxa)

A warming therapy that uses dried mugwort (moxa) to stimulate acupuncture points and meridians. Moxa nourishes Yang energy, improves circulation, and is often used to ease pain, support digestion, and boost immunity.
