01

THE FOUNDATION

Acupuncture

Ultra-thin, sterile, single-use needles are placed at selected points. Local points and distal points away from the area of concern may be combined, bringing together orthopedic thinking and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Pain care, women’s health, and whole-person support.

02

PRECISE MUSCLE-FOCUSED WORK

Dry needling, trigger points & motor points

Dry needling and trigger-point therapy focus on sensitive or tight muscle areas that may contribute to local or referred pain. Motor-point acupuncture targets selected points related to muscle activation. The choice of technique is based on your assessment and tolerance.

Often considered within orthopedic pain and sports-injury care.

03

ALSO CALLED ELECTROACUPUNCTURE OR E-STIM

Electrical stimulation

A controlled electrical current is applied through selected acupuncture needles. Intensity and settings are adjusted to the treatment goal and your comfort. We’ll review your medical history and any implanted electrical devices before considering it.

An option within selected pain, muscle, and nerve-related treatment plans.

04

SOFT-TISSUE CARE USING SUCTION

Cupping

Cups create suction at the skin to gently lift the underlying tissue. Cupping may be used alongside acupuncture for muscle tension and recovery-focused care. Temporary circular marks can occur and will be discussed before treatment.

A hands-on option for areas such as the back, shoulders, and other appropriate muscle groups.

05

TARGETED SOFT-TISSUE WORK

Gua sha

A smooth-edged tool is moved over lubricated skin in a controlled stroking technique. Areas and pressure are selected for your needs and comfort. Temporary redness or marks may follow.

An additional option when addressing localized muscle tightness and tension.

06

WARMTH, WHEN IT FITS YOUR CARE

Moxibustion

The herb mugwort is used as a source of warmth near selected acupuncture points. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, moxibustion may be considered for certain cold-type patterns, including some menstrual and women’s health presentations, as well as selected pain or digestive concerns. It is chosen after assessment rather than routinely added to every visit.

Women’s health and menstrual care when appropriate to the individual; your pregnancy status and heat or smoke sensitivity are part of the discussion.

07

HANDS-ON CHINESE MEDICINE

Tuina medical massage

Tuina uses hands-on techniques along muscles and traditional acupuncture channels. It may be combined with acupuncture and other approaches when addressing tension, movement, and comfort.

Another way to tailor your treatment to your body and your preferences.

THE WHOLE PERSON MATTERS

Care beyond
the main concern.

Alongside orthopedic and women’s health care, we can talk about digestion, stress, burnout, sleep, and the habits that shape your everyday wellbeing. Gabby’s holistic nutrition background informs practical, individualized conversations about nourishment.

We’ll explain your options before treatment, check your comfort, and adapt the plan as needed. If something is outside the scope of acupuncture care, appropriate medical support remains part of the conversation.
